These terms apply when you use flickbrowne.com.au or hire Flick Browne. Flick Browne is the trading name of Felicity Browne, ABN 34 595 080 577. By using the site or engaging me for work you agree to them.

Using this website

The content on this site is general information about SEO, AI search visibility and websites. It isn't advice for your specific business until we've agreed to work together. The free tools (The Nosey Ten and the AI visibility check) are provided as they are, and results depend on the answers you give.

What I do and how it's scoped

I offer monthly retainers, audits, product page optimisation and website planning and copy. Websites are built by Flick Browne and Life Is Digital together, and the terms for each build are set out in the website agreement for that project. Before any paid work starts, I'll confirm the scope, price and timing with you in writing. Prices on this site are starting points and the confirmed quote applies.

I can't guarantee rankings, traffic, enquiries or a mention in any AI tool. Search engines and AI tools decide what they show, and I don't control that.

Access I need from you

I'll ask for read-only access to tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Semrush, plus any others the work needs. You stay the owner of those accounts and can remove my access at any time. Please make sure you have the right to give that access.

Payment

Project work is paid 50% at the start and 50% at the end of the project. Monthly management is billed at the start of each month, for that month. Audits are paid in full upfront. Invoices are issued by Felicity Browne trading as Flick Browne. I'm not registered for GST, so my prices don't include GST. Invoices are due within 14 days.

Cancelling

Monthly management needs one month's notice. Notice takes effect at the end of the month it's given in. Audits are paid upfront and aren't refunded. The 50% payment at the start of a project is non-refundable. All sales are final. None of this limits any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

Who owns the work

Once you've paid in full, you own the copy, reports and documents I write for you, and I give you whatever rights I hold in them. I keep my own methods, templates and tools, including the free checks on this site. Websites are covered by the website agreement for that project. Once the website is finished and paid for in full, you own it. I only name you or share your results publicly with your permission.

Limits of my responsibility

I take care with the work I do, but I'm not responsible for losses that come from changes made by search engines, AI tools, your developer or anyone else, or from information you give me that turns out to be wrong. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law. To the extent the law allows, my total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid me for the work the claim relates to. I'm not liable for lost profit, lost rankings or lost enquiries.

Confidentiality

I'll keep anything you tell me in confidence, such as unpublished plans, sales figures and account access, and I won't share it with anyone outside the work. That includes anyone I bring in to help, who is bound by the same promise. This carries on after our work ends. When I work in your analytics or search tools, you control my access and can remove it at any time. I only use your results publicly with your permission. Otherwise anything I share on social media is anonymous, and I only name you in conversations with you.

Your part and delays

I need information, access and approvals from you on time. If they arrive late, my delivery dates move by the same number of days.

Anything outside my control

I'm not responsible for a delay or failure caused by something I can't reasonably control, such as an outage at a platform I rely on, illness or a natural disaster. Delivery dates move by the length of the delay.

Links to other sites

This site links to other websites and tools. I don't control them and I'm not responsible for what they say or how they handle your information.

Price changes

Prices shown on this site can change. The price in my written quote is the one that applies to your work.

If part of these terms doesn't apply

If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still stands.

How I handle your information is set out in the Privacy Policy.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
